LITTLE ROCK - Former U.S. Attorney and candidate for the U.S. Senate Conner Eldridge announced he has traveled to all 75 Arkansas counties since
"I am proud to announce that with my stops Friday in Ozark, Paris, and Booneville, I have been to all 75 Arkansas counties during this campaign, and I'm just getting warmed up," said Eldridge. "I fundamentally believe that the job of a U.S. Senator is to be engaged with, listen to, and fight for the people of this state, and you can't do that unless you hear from people in every corner of the state, in every county."
Eldridge began his tour around Arkansas he calls "Hear Arkansas Voices" (#HearARVoices) shortly after announcing his candidacy in September. During his travel across the state, he has stopped at diners and restaurants, police and fire stations, gas stations and truck stops, factories, small businesses, stores, and courthouses – all places where Arkansans work day and night to make ends meet while going unheard by those in Washington.
"For too long, Washington has ignored Arkansans and the problems we face every day. That will change when I’m elected to the Senate,” said Eldridge. “My opponent is not engaged with this state. He does not travel the state. He also remains silent on the issues facing Arkansans. We need a United States Senator that will work hard, listen to all Arkansans and then aggressively represent them. That is a major distinction in this race: I'm willing to put in the sweat equity and shoe leather it takes to speak with Arkansans face-to-face and then give them a strong, new voice when I’m elected to the U.S. Senate.”
The campaign released a collage of his travels on their website here.
