LITTLE ROCK – Former U.S. Attorney and candidate for the U.S. Senate Conner Eldridge today released a statement regarding the shooting in Dallas, TX that left five law enforcement officers dead and seven wounded.
Statement from Conner Eldridge:
"I am appalled by what has happened in Dallas. I am also heartbroken at the lives lost. As a prosecutor, I have witnessed the courage, valor, and commitment demonstrated by law enforcement. It is simply reprehensible that law enforcement officers were targeted and killed.We have now seen several horrible acts of violence in recent weeks: Orlando, Baton Rouge, St. Paul and Dallas. We have real problems that need to be solved. We must come together and work to prevent this continued violence that impacts us all."
