U.S. Senate Candidate Eldridge Criticizes Boozman’s Excessive Foreign Travel: Over 120 Visits, 53 Foreign Countries

ENGLAND, ARKANSAS - Former U.S. Attorney and candidate for the U.S. Senate Conner Eldridge today criticized his opponent, incumbent John Boozman, for the numerous visits to countries abroad since being elected to Congress. Sen. Boozman's official logs show he has now visited 53 different foreign countries, stopping in countries over 120 times. Eldridge called it "unsurprising" that 44% of Arkansans don't know who John Boozman is given his excessive travels out of country, prompting him to ask, "where is John Boozman?"

"When I found out the number of foreign trips Sen. Boozman has taken since holding office, I found out why 44% of Arkansans don't know who he is -- he's never here!" said Eldridge. "With a record of visiting foreign countries over 120 times, I can only infer he prefers traveling to foreign countries over doing his job in Arkansas."

The Eldridge Campaign released a website today whereisjohnboozman.com, which displays a graphic detailing the various countries to which the Senator has traveled. The site also notes that of his trips back to Arkansas, nearly 75% of those trips are to the same five towns: Rogers, Little Rock, Conway, Bentonville, and Fort Smith.

"'Where's John Boozman?' It's a question Arkansans find themselves asking all-too-often," said Eldridge. "A Senator should be engaged and committed to the people of Arkansas, but instead Sen. Boozman is nowhere to be found. This week I'll be burning up the road, traveling intensely around the state and continuing my '#HearARVoices' road tour, which has already taken me to all 75 Arkansas counties. As part of my travels today, I am in England, Arkansas. I'll take England, Arkansas over England, UK any day."
