ROGERS, ARKANSAS - Former U.S. Attorney and candidate for the U.S. Senate Conner Eldridge today challenged incumbent John Boozman to a debate in the Senator's hometown of Rogers, Arkansas this Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. Senator Boozman began the record-long, seven-week Senate recess in Cleveland at the Republican National Convention and is expected to return Friday.

"It has been over five months since my initial call to debate, and I've heard nothing but silence from the Senator," said Eldridge. "So, we're going to make this real easy for John: we'll be in his hometown this Saturday at 10 a.m. with the debate truck, two podiums, and microphones. All he has to do is show up and give the Arkansas people what they have deserved for the past 15 years: straight answers on the issues that matter."

This week, the Eldridge Campaign has been hitting Boozman on his numerous trips abroad, repeatedly asking the question, "Where is John Boozman?" as Eldridge has continued his travels across the state visiting Monticello, England, Perryville, Russellville, Hot Springs Village, Goshen, Rogers, and Fayetteville.

"Sen. Boozman will be fresh off a week in Cleveland, where he participated in typical partisan politics instead of helping people in Arkansas," said Eldridge. "He should be ready to debate, and I eagerly await his response -- the Arkansas people have waited too long to hear from him. We'll be in his own backyard; the Senator is out of excuses."
