U.S. Senate Candidate Eldridge Calls on Sen. Boozman to "End The Silence" on Trump's Harassment of Women

Two Days and Counting with No Comment from Senator John Boozman

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., May 4, 2016  – Conner Eldridge, former prosecutor and U.S. Attorney, running for the U.S. Senate in Arkansas, today called on his opponent, Senator John Boozman, to denounce Donald Trump and his decades-long serial harassment of women. In the 48 hours since the Eldridge campaign released a national ad featuring Trump’s dehumanizing and hostile treatment of women, Boozman has been silent.

The ad, which has sparked a national furor over Trump's comments, has gotten nearly one hundred thousand YouTube views in only two days.

Statement from Conner Eldridge
“I have one softball question for Sen. Boozman: Do you still support Donald Trump as the Republican nominee after witnessing his reprehensible treatment of women?

"The fact that Boozman won’t stand up and speak out on this issue is one of the many reasons I am running for the U.S. Senate. This issue is not a matter of Left vs. Right. It’s about Right vs. Wrong. Who has the integrity and the independence to do what’s right for Arkansas and America? John Boozman is failing that test. Conner Eldridge will continue to do the right thing.”
